The Royal Adelaide has been a constant in Windsor for many years dating back to the 1830s. For nearly 200 years it has stood the test of time and worn a coat of many colours. It’s latest hue is officially ‘DH Linen’, a heritage colour approved for us in other fine listed buildings in Windsor. Whilst many may miss the wedgewood blue it replaced, there is no doubt that DH linen is a beautiful cream which sparkles in the light and shows off the hotel’s Georgian features.
The painting forms part of a £250,000 update of the hotel to include painting, signage, new comfy Hypnos mattresses and beds, plus facelifts for many of the 43 bedrooms – due to be completed in September 2017.
We’re in the process of giving the hotel a new makeover! Let us know what you think to our fresh, modern colour.
